My name is Darcy Reaume

‘Re’ like repeat. ‘Umm’ like thinking.

I believe the best work comes from repeat thinking. Reframing the problem, returning to human needs, and reconsidering what’s possible.

For 20+ years, I’ve watched design evolve from print to digital, social to mobile, systems to AI. Through every shift, the technology changed. Human-centred thinking didn’t.

I dig deeper to what is behind a problem. The world has new problems to solve and we need creativity and curiosity to uncover new solutions that will stick.

Empathy is never a checkbox,
it exposes and gives us purpose. I listen closely, from many sources, and find the connections that turn complexity into clarity.
Do the work

Good craft takes time, discipline, and follow-through. I’m willing to put in the effort, test ideas, learn from failure, and keep refining until the outcome is fulfilled.
Strengthen teams

Work thrives when teams feel trusted, heard, and connected to a shared goal. I build that environment through a balance of autonomy and support.
Let fate take the bait

I put myself out there and don’t stand idle waiting for life to happen. But also, I don’t tread on where it takes me. I embrace the unknown.
